Grand Park Royal Cozumel Hotel, Cozumel

The hotel room was nice and roomy, although it had some issues like old decor and broken balcony doors that let in outside noise. The beds were hard but surprisingly good for sleeping, and the staff promised to address our request for a king bed. The service was generally good, with attentive cleaning and tree trimming, but there were some unfriendly moments, especially in the Italian place regarding dietary requirements. The location was excellent with great snorkeling options, although navigating through the resort could be a challenge. The dining offered a good variety of food but had some hits and misses and could improve on food handling. Overall, the hotel featured decent facilities.

I arrived at the hotel around 3 pm for check-in, but my room wasn't ready. They moved me to a different room with extremely uncomfortable twin beds, making it feel cramped for a couple. The only upside was the ocean view from the balcony.
